Creative Writing [Wednesday, Period Two]
Jan. 21st, 2026 11:08 pmYour teachers were here, and a projector was on, so they really were hitting three for three so far this semester.
"The thing is kids," Aphra started them off this week. "In order to write, you need to read. A lot. Good stuff so you can learn what works, bad so you lean why it doesn't."
"And utterly terrible so you have the confidence that whatever you come up with will be better," Isabela added. "And luckily there's a place where you can find all three."
Isabela dramatically pressed a button, and a website appeared on the screen. Isabela frowned at it, then took out her phone, poked at it, and frowned at that.
It wasn't that neither Isabela nor Aphra hadn't noticed the clearly labelled upcoming maintenance warnings on the site, it was just that when it came down to it, they didn't care enough about Earth time-zones to realise it'd be down during their class.
"I guess there's also the library," Aphra said eventually.
